We are proud to celebrate the reopening of our beautiful holiday park with a fresh and exciting new website. Now matching the level of quality and professionalism of our hospitality, this website has been developed to streamline our processes and refresh the look and feel of our customer facing operations. Potential guests can now check our pitch availability online and request a booking, providing all the necessary information for our reception staff to confirm the reservation quickly and efficiently. Currently, we do not intend to make these booking transactions fully digital, as we feel that personal touch is what sets us apart from the rest. We like to understand what you want from your stay, so we can place you in the best pitch on our site for your individual circumstances. That’s all part of the Sherwood service, and a practice we shall certainly continue.

This new reservation system does however make it easier for customers to see our availability at a glance, and saves needless waiting for email responses or phone calls during the peak season, when we are more often than not, fully booked up. We intend to use this new system in the future to promote cheaper mid-week stays, and reach out with deals for last minute bookings, so please follow us on social media to keep in touch with our latest promotions. We expect to be incredibly busy over the coming months, as the country says goodbye to lockdown, and people start to enjoy some well-deserved freedom.

For aesthetics, we love the new look of our site and feel it functions as a website should in this modern age. Optimised for all devices, including mobile phones, tablets and widescreen monitors, we have tried to give the visuals a complete overhaul with a more immersive feel, with videos introducing most pages, some movement and animation, whilst keeping a bright and airy feel. We are all about space and being active, strolls along the river, biking in the woods and adventure, so our new website ties in nicely with our ethos for the great outdoors. We particularly like the animals seen in and around our park, moving around the pages, which are a nice touch.

We are already full booked up for electric pitches for the three remaining bank holidays this year, and expect July and August to fill up quickly as parents treat the children to breaks away from home.
