Winter is coming here at Sherwood Forest, and with the end of the year fast approaching we have some fantastic events to look forward to over the coming weeks. This year Christmas starts early in Robin Hood country, as we hold our Winter Wonderland event this coming Saturday (4th December 2021). This will be your opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit, as seasonal pitch holders and fellow guests offer their creations, festive wares, and we all participate in some popular activities to spread the cheer. Fun for all the family, everyone checked in to our park is welcome to pop along and share the joy, spread the merriment and to relish what is arguably the most wonderful time of the year. Our Santa’s grotto will be a must see for the kids and their chance to meet the big man before the big day, open from 12pm till 4pm. We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday, festivities kicking off from 11am.
Those arriving to our park for Halloween weekend may be in for a shock, as guests and fellow holidaymakers prepare for our eagerly anticipated Halloween event. A popular weekend, generally booked up months in advance, local residents and visitors are all welcome to join the fun, as darkness falls across the land, voices whisper amongst the trees, caldrons bubble and pumpkins glow by moonlight.
As the bushes rustle, toil and trouble, stay calm and carry your wand, as we judge our best-dressed caravan competition, your opportunity to give a fright and put a spell on us. The winners of this will be announced on scary Sunday, along with some wicked photos from the evening activities, so please do follow us and check back soon. There will be plenty to do for the young one's through the night, with trick or treating welcome and a spooky letter trail offering some sweet prizes. It will certainly be an evening of fun for all the family, with the Grill Pit serving hot food over the flames through the weekend. Update, now this year's event has passed, we are taking bookings for the same event next year. Book online now to avoid disappointment, and check our social media feeds for photos from the 2021 event.
